Poem

What have you got?

Some were sitting on a bench,

Others were looking outside,

Tolia was singing, Boris was silent,

Nicolas was shaking his leg.

It was in the evening,

There was nothing to do.

The jackdaw sat on the fence

The cat climbed to the attic,

And Boria told the guys

For no reason in particular:

- I have a nail in my pocket,

And you?

- Today we have a guest.

And you?

- And today our cat ...

Gave birth to kittens yesterday.

The kittens have grown a little,

But they do not want to eat from a saucer.

- We have a gas stove,

And you?

- And we have running water.

That's it.

- You can see the Red Square

From our window.

And from your window

Just a little piece of the street.

- We walked through Neglinnaya,

We went to the boulevard,

And we received a red balloon,

Which was also dark blue and dark green.

- Our lights were off,

This is the first thing.

The truck carried the wood,

This is the second.

And fourth, our mother

Is setting off  for a flight

Because our mother

Is called a pilot.

Vova answered the stairs

- Your mom is a pilot?

So what?

Kolya's mother, for example,

Is a policewoman.

And Vera’s and Tolia’s mums

Are both engineers.

And Liova’s mum is a cook.

Your mom is a pilot?

So what?

The most important - said Nata -

Is my mom, she’s a tram conductor,

Because she tows two trailers

To Zatsepa.

And Nina said in a low voice:

- Is there something wrong about being a dressmaker?

Who sews pants for guys?

Of course, a pilot doesn’t do it!

The pilot flies planes -

This is great.

The chef makes compotes,

This is good too.

The doctor cures measles,

And the teacher works at school.

We need different mums

All the mums are important.

It was in the evening,

There was nothing to discuss.
