Russian director Alexey German was awarded the Achievement in Directing prize for his film ‘Under Electric Clouds’ at the 9th Asia-Pacific Screen Awards in Brisbane, Australia on Nov. 26.
The film is an episodic, spiritual and existentialistic look at the state of Russia in 2017, one hundred years after the Bolshevik Revolution. It is a Russian-Ukrainian-Polish co-production.
Earlier this year, the film won the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution for Cinematography at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival.
