A full collection of works by renowned sci-fi writers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky is now available to view free online, reports Afisha Daily.

The children of the writing brothers, Arkady's daughter Maria and Boris' son Andrei, made the decision after failing to win the battle against Internet piracy. “Alas, the pirate has won,” wrote Andrei on Facebook.

Included in the collection are unpublished stories, never before seen by the public. Several of the Strugatsky brothers’ books take place in the surreal World of Noon, also known as the Wanderers Universe, and the Soviet-Russian writing siblings collaborated throughout much of their careers. Picnic on the roadside, Hard to Be a God, Far Beyond and The Doomed City are just a few of their notable novels.

All works can be viewed in Russian on the official website www.rusf.ru.
