This year Moscow is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the American Corners program. Few people know that Russia was the first country where the U.S. established an American center, in 1993. In honor of this milestone, RBTH is launching a new project looking at U.S.-Russian relations on a person-to-person level. In this new blog our authors will report from events taking place in the 25 American centers and corners across Russia and discuss the role of soft power policies in a contemporary context
