Extreme ways

RBTH
Getting to the most remote corners of Russia is a difficult task even for local residents. The austere Far East, which shelters the volcanoes of Kamchatka, and the unpeopled Far North, resplendent in the glow of the Aurora Borealis, entice romantics, adventurers, and adrenalin junkies. Some are ready to fly 30,000 km along Russia’s borders by helicopter; others set sail for the Arctic to bring back a chunk of iceberg to the mainland, while a third group seeks to conquer mountain rivers in amphibious vehicles. This blog is dedicated to the most extraordinary expeditions that take place across Russia. Come and join RBTH on the road to adventure!
