G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit will take place from June 15 to 17. The summit is hosted and organized by the Moscow government and the Center for Entrepreneurship. The event is supported by MSP Bank, the Russian Venture Company, OPORA Russia, Delovaya Rossiya, and the Russian Agency for Youth Affairs.

The following speakers are scheduled take part in the Summit: Andrei Sharonov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow government on economic policy; Alexei Komissarov, Head of the Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship Department of Moscow; Jonathan Ortmans, President of Global Entrepreneurship Week; Dan Serfaty, co-Founder and CEO of Viadeo; Bertin Nahum, President of Medtech; Elena Masolova, founder of Eduson.tv, and other entrepreneurs and leaders in business and politics.

The summit focuses on young entrepreneurs as the leading force for job creation, innovation, economic and sustainable growth, and competitiveness. 

During the Summit, 400 young entrepreneurs from the world’s twenty leading economies will discuss key issues surrounding youth entrepreneurship development and they will finalize a communique with recommendations for G20 leaders to achieve economic growth.  

Globally, small and medium-sized businesses are responsible for the majority of job creation and developing entrepreneurship is the key to solve the employment problems in the modern world. The new generation of entrepreneurs is not only creating jobs now, but they will ensure long-term growth in production and innovation throughout the G20 and global economies.

In addition to plenary and breakout sessions, Ernst & Young Global will present the results of their “Entrepreneurship Barometer” survey, and Accenture will show their research on “Innovations as the Key Factor of Growth and Employment.”

For Russia, the upcoming summit is of special significance. Youth entrepreneurship and human capital are the main factors for innovative economic development; it is vital to the stable growth of all nations taking part in the global economy.

The fact that Moscow is hosting this international event once again proves the importance of Moscow as an integral part of the world’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, drawing attention to investment opportunities in the city, and providing a unique opportunity to create international networks and partnerships between Russian entrepreneurs and their counterparts from around the G20.

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit is an international three-day forum, which unites young entrepreneurs from G20 countries. Its aim is to establish new business connections and exchange experience in creating dynamic companies. 

It will facilitate dialogue between key ecosystem participants on the local, national and international levels. The Summit will promote the understanding of entrepreneurship’s key role in innovation, job creation, economic growth, and national well-being and it will inspire present and future generations of entrepreneurs.
