The fifth Interra International Innovation Forum in Novosibirsk

This year, the fifth annual Interra International Innovation Forum will take place on September 6-7.

The forum, held in Novosibirsk, is one of Russia’s most influential inter-regional and international platforms for discussing and understanding the concepts and practices of innovative development in economics and the social sector.

For 2013, the main theme is “Education as a source of innovative development.” In the face of increasing demand for transformative technologies and intellectual and cultural products, education to a large extent determines the aggregate index of the global competitiveness of Russian regions, ensuring investment in them and social attractiveness.

All Forum events will be structured with the following areas of focus in mind: “Education Environment,” “Education and Technology,” “Education and Economy,” and “Non-Traditional Forms of Education.”
