Interdisciplinary Academic Forum Moscow Science Week 2014

The interdisciplinary academic forum Moscow Science Week (MSW 2014) will be held September 8-12. The event brings together representatives from the natural and social sciences, from Russia and other countries.

The goal of the forum is to create a modern platform for constructive discourse among academics across generations.

MSW 2014’s academic program will include lectures by internationally renowned academics, presentations by laureates of academic awards for youth, and a series of roundtables on various topics.

MSW 2014 is being organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Council of Young Academics and the Coordinating Committee for Youth in Science and Education in the Council of the President of the Russian Federation. Co-organizers of the forum also include The Russian Academy of Sciences, the Federal Agency of Academic Organizations, and the Kharkevich Institute for Information Transmission Problems.

The chairman of MSW 2014’s organizing committee Andrei Kotelnikov and the chairman of the forum’s program committee Alexander Safanov will conduct the opening ceremony. The president of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Fortov and the head of the Federal Agency of Academic Organizations Mikhail Kotyukov will also give speeches welcoming the guests and participants.
