4th annual Eurasian business forum and firebird gala

On Nov. 3, 2016, the Moscow Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) presents a day of programming to highlight doing business in the Eurasian countries and celebrating their cultural heritage.

Presented in partnership with Baker & McKenzie, the 4th Annual Eurasian Business Forum will highlight doing business in the Eurasian countries on November 3, 2016 from 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. at Baker & McKenzie (300 E. Randolph Street, Suite 5000). Distinguished speakers and panelists from Eurasia and the United States will address key issues and trends of the current investment climate in the region.

Alexis Rodzianko, President and CEO, American Chamber of Commerce in Russia will be the forum’s keynote speaker. There will be three panel discussions where speakers will share their experiences and achievements: Investment Climate and Doing Business in Eurasia: Key Issues and Trends; Eurasian Economic Union (EUU): Challenges and Opportunities for Investment into the EEU; and Eurasian Companies in the United States: Experiences and Achievements.

Confirmed panelists include Arkadiy Dobkin, Founder, CEO and President, EPAM Systems; Piotr Galitzine, Chairman and CEO, TMK IPSCO; Azamat Kuatbekov, Almaty Office Managing Partner, Baker & McKenzie; J.P. Natkin, Partner, Macro-Advisory Ltd.; and Sergei Voitishkin, CIS Managing Partner, Baker & McKenzie.

The 4th Annual Firebird Gala, hosted by Co-Chairs of the Moscow Committee of CSCI Aleksandra Efimova and Prince Piotr Galitzine, takes place November 3, 2016, at 6pm at The Union League Club of Chicago (65 W. Jackson Boulevard). The evening will feature dinner and entertainment. Black tie attire.
