An international conference about the Middle East will be held in Moscow

On Feb. 27-28, the Valdai Discussion Club, in partnership with the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, will hold a conference, titled “The Middle East: When Will Tomorrow Come?” The conference will be held in the format of an expert dialogue attended by politicians, scholars and diplomats from over 25 countries that play an active role in the region.

The center of attention at the conference will be the future of the Middle East in the context of global changes in world politics. Experts will discuss the impact the rise of new leaders in Europe and the United States has in the region, what position regional players will have in all this and which policy of the international community might stabilize the Middle East throughout the crisis. A lot of attention will be paid to Russia’s politics in the region.

The conference will be held at в Lotte Hotel Moscow (8 bld.2, Novinskiy Blvd., Moscow).
