Angry Birds amusement parks come to Russia

Finnish company Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds, has announced plans to open several similarly themed amusement parks in Russia over the coming year. The parks, which already operate in Finland, the U.K. and China, will occupy areas of between two and 10 square kilometers.

Amusement parks are one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the Russian real estate market. At the beginning of this month it was announced that DreamWorks parks would open in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, while a Universal Studios park will open outside Moscow.
