The president of Russian oil major Rosneft, Igor Sechin, has had a series of one-on-one meetings with representatives of major investment funds, among them Wellington Management Company and Mason Capital, during a working trip to New York, a company representative told Interfax.

Sechin gave a presentation during Investor's Day, which Rosneft hosted in New York. Presentations were also given by company Vice Presidents Zhelko Runye, Vlada Rusakova, Dinye Kasimiro, and Svyatoslav Slavinsky.

Top Rosneft managers held a similar presentation in London on Tuesday. That was the first public presentation of the company since its recent purchase of 100% of TNK-BP from the AAR consortium (Alfa Group, Access Industries, and Renova) and BP.
