Arctic Monkeys headline Moscow’s “Subbotnik” festival

On July 6, Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure in Moscow will become a major concert venue. That Saturday, thousands of people will gather at the first "Subbotnik" music festival, which is set to be held annually.

This year, nine bands will hit the stage. The main acts at “Subbotnik” come from Great Britain. This includes the synth-pop duo Hurts and indie rockers Foals, as well as Jessie Ware, who started her music career in 2009.

One of the most popular rock bands in the world, Arctic Monkeys, will be headlining the festival. Most of the bands will be performing in Russia for the first time.
