Tatiana and Sergey Nikitin at the Southbank Centre

A rare performance by Russia's award-winning Tatiana and Sergey Nikitin hosted by the charity Chance for Life.

Sergey Nikitin's compositions, and the husband-and-wife singing duo, have played a key role in establishing the genre of poetic song in Russia and in the countries of the former Soviet Union, with songs drawing upon the work of poets and writers such as Boris Pasternak, Marina Tsvetaeva and William Shakespeare.

Three generations of listeners in Russia and abroad heard the Nikitins' songs while growing up.

This concert is in memory of Ilya Segalovich and all profits from it will go directly towards the charitable projects of the Maria's Children Foundation.

Tickets are priced at £33, £30, £27, and can be booked directly from Southbank Centre ticket offices, online at www.southbankcentre.co.uk or over the phone on 0844 875 0073.
