A play in Russian with English subtitles will take you to a world, where a corrupt government is policing a chaotic city's convents, prisons and brothels... With his unique brew of laughter and high seriousness, Shakespeare dissects the nature of government, love, and justice. The performance is directed by Declan Donnellan, a joint founder of Cheek by Jowl.
