The 3rd Annual Conference: DOING BUSINESS WITH THE BRICS

Washington, DC, MONDAY, May 18th

The five BRICS countries represent almost 3 billion people, with a combined nominal GDP of US$16 trillion and an estimated US$4 trillion in combined foreign reserves. Given that the BRICS nations encompass 30 percent of the world's territory and 42 percent of the world's population, over 3 billion people. Together they produce 25% of the gross world product.

These new developments demand new business relations between the BRICS and the United States, as there are a lot of new business opportunities to explore with these nations. A new BRICS Development Bank, now known as the New Development Bank (NDB) has been set up to foster great financial and development cooperation among the five emerging markets.

Panels will address vital topics of business, trade, energy and finance. There will be new business and investment opportunities in the BRICS. The Conference will include presentations on energy and natural resources, high technology, mergers and acquisitions, economic development and public support for investments.

This event will allow you and your colleagues to interact with those officials from Russia, India, China, Brazil and South Africa seeking to expand trade, direct investments, business opportunities and open communication.

With the 7th BRICS Conference scheduled in July in Ufa, there are many important commercial developments occurring among the BRICS that will stimulate new growth. There will be executives and representatives from US corporations and officials from US Government agencies including the Departments of Commerce and State.
