Number of the week: How much ice cream feeds Muscovites at festival?

More than 5 million people, including about 2 million children, visited the Moscow Ice Cream Festival this year, writes TASS news agency citing the press center of the Moscow Trade and Service Department.      More than 150 kinds of ice cream were presented at the festival. There were many traditional flavors, but also a number of exotic ones: Japanese rice ice cream, strawberry with chili pepper, creamy ice cream with bacon, lactose-free versions and many others. In total visitors ate 95 tons of ice cream and drank 17,600 liters of soft drinks over the course of 17 days.      The festival’s program was quite rich and interactive: visitors not only ate ice cream but also took part in 1,641 master classes, 1,152 cooking workshops, 1,334 art courses and lectures and watched 72 cooking shows.
