U.S. rock band's performance in Russia canceled after flag incident in Odessa - minister
The U.S. rock group Bloodhound Gang's planned performance at a festival in the Krasnodar territory has been canceled following an incident with a Russian flag in Odessa, Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky said on Twitter.
"Talked to Krasnodar territory leadership. Bloodhound Gang packing suitcases. These idiots won't perform in Kuban [Krasnodar territory]," Medinsky said.
Some media reported earlier that a Bloodhound Gang bass guitarist performed some stunt at a concert in Odessa that was perceived as the defiling of a Russian flag.
