The UK Visas & Immigration Department announced that five new visa application centers will be opened in Russia. These centers will replace five that are being closed.

The new centers will be managed by Telepeformance. Previously, the UK had worked with VFS, but the many problems involved in processing documents resulted in applicants not receiving their British visas on time.

“Over the next two weeks the five centers run by VFS will close, and we will open five new centers run by Teleperformance in the same cities: Moscow, St Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Rostov on Don and Novosibirsk,” said a statement on the gov.uk website.
