21 Malaysians among injured students in Moscow dormitory fire

7 students are receiving treatment for carbon monoxide poisoning

21 of the 43 students injured as a result of a fire at a dormitory of Pirogov State Medical University in Moscow are Malaysians, media outlets from Kuala Lumpur reported on Thursday.

"Out of the 21, seven are still receiving treatment for Carbon Monoxide poisoning and burns,” The New Straits Times cited the Malaysian officials as saying in a statement.

A spokesman from the Malaysian Embassy in Moscow told the paper that the students are conscious and their conditions are not life threatening.
