Bangkok to host ‘Faces of the BRICS’ photo exhibition

This exhibition aims to acquaint Thais with the variety of natural and cultural heritages of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.

An exhibition titled ‘Faces of the BRICS’ will open on May 21 at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).

This exhibition aims to acquaint Thais with the diverse natural and cultural heritages of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, while at the same time reflecting on the history of the BRICS members. Special portraits and landscapes will be dedicated to each of the BRICS countries.

Curators of this exhibition were able to capture and express the essence of BRICS cooperation, something that unites the five diverse countries, which look to take a common approach towards global problems.

This fine collection definitely deserves attention both from the professional and artistic point of view.

The exhibition will be jointly inaugurated by Gilberto Fonseca Guimarães de Moura, Kirill Barsky, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Ning Fukui and Robina P. Marks, the respective ambassadors of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa to Thailand.

The exhibition is open to the public during working hours of the BACC, and will be held until June 14.
