After performing in Singapore at the end of May, the St. Petersburg ballet will stage performances of Swan Lake and Giselle in Melbourne and Perth.

In Singapore, all 8 performances of the 55-member St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre’s full-length classic production of Pyotr Iyich Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake were sold out.

On June 5 at His Majesty's Theatre in Perth, the group will stage 2 performances before holding 9 performances at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center from June 19 till June 24.

The St. Petersburg Ballet Theater was founded in 1994 by Konstantin Tachkin and has remained independent ever since. Its main aim is to deliver Russian classical ballet performances to international audiences.

The group first performed in Australia in 1999.
