Terminator Genisys tops box office charts in Russia, South Korea

During the opening weekend, the latest film in the Terminator series made $12.5 million in Russia and $11.1 million in South Korea.

The box office collection of Terminator Genisys outside the United States touched $85.5 million during the opening weekend, with Russia and South Korea leading the way, Russian entertainment website Afisha reported.

During the opening weekend, the latest film in the Terminator series made $12.5 million in Russia and $11.1 million in South Korea, topping box office charts in both countries.

Korean actor Lee Byung-hun acts as the upgraded terminator.

Terminator Genisys did not top the box office charts in the U.S. and ended up in third place, grossing a disappointing $44.2 million. Both Pixar's Inside Out and Jurassic World fared better at the U.S. box office.
