Dakaitaowa will be based in Shanghai.

Dakaitaowa, a Russian ecommerce platform for food retailers will start its China operations on June 1, the company said at a presentation on May 5 at the SIAL China food exhibition.

Dakaitaowa’s headquarters will be in Shanghai and its operations will cover all of China. The company expects a turnover of $200 million by 2018.

Consumers can find confectionery, chocolate, snacks, baby food and organic foods in the platform.  “Dakaitaowa.com can integrate with Chinese online retail platforms such as Tmall and Taobao," a company representative said at the food exhibition.
