A school inspired by Russia’s Sirius Educational Center will open in Bangkok, The Bangkok Post reported on its website.

The school will offer free specialized courses in many disciplines. The courses will be taught by specially trained teachers to help gifted students meet their potential, Kamol Rodklai, secretary-general of Thailand’s Office of the Education Council told the paper.

Every year, 600 children aged between 10 and 17 who have displayed aptitude in science, arts, sports or technical creativity will be selected for the project, the paper said.
