St. Petersburg, Sochi and Moscow all make the popular website’s list.

In the late March 2016 the popular online booking service TripAdvisor released the ranking of its top 25 destinations in Europe. Three Russian cities made the list.

St. Petersburg fared best coming in 8^th place, while Moscow is ranked 24th. Surprisingly, Sochi took 19^th place sandwiched between between Austria’s Vienna and Zermatt, Switzerland. The most popular European destination on the list is London.

St. Petersburg is the only Russian city that made another TripAdvisor “best of” list. It came in 14^th place on its ranking of the Top 25 Destinations In The World.
