"Mozart and Salieri" - based on Pushkin's short story - opens May 22.

London's Time Zone Theatre last year announced a crowd funding campaign to bring their interpretation of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's opera Mozart&Salieri to UK theaters.

The plans for the fresh interpretation of an opera based on Pushkin's poetic drama about Salieri's jealousy of Mozart's talents were successful and Time Zone attracted funds for a tour of the UK and Denmark.

To celebrate the start of the tour, the opera's director Pamela Schermann invites everyone to a performance of the production at the Russian Cultural Center Rossotrudnichestvo on May 22.

Sung in English and accompanied with piano and viola, the performance will last 50 minutes.
