Clowns in the Desert

Award-winning writer Kim Palchikoff fell in love with the Moscow Circus when it came to her small American town in 1990. After following them back to Moscow, she spent a decade working for the American media during the day and watching circus shows at night. Now based in Washington DC, she is still in love with Russia's famous, zany, wacky, one-of-a-kind circus and continues to write about them.
