Eurasian Week Forum and Expo in Moscow

On Oct. 26-28, the Eurasian Week Forum and Expo dedicated to the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held for the first time. The event will be held at the Technopark of the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

The cross-cutting theme of the Eurasian Week 2016 Forum and Expo will be “The EAEU in the Global Innovation Agenda”, and the key player of the forum will be the technological entrepreneur. The business program invites the forum participants to discuss topical practical issues related to the creation and development of Eurasian Technology Platforms, strategies to further elaborate the common markets of the Union and the development of industrial cooperation between companies of the Union, as well as the applied tasks of promoting the export of high-tech goods.

The discussions will involve the potential and real scope of the integration association as a player in the high-tech market.

In cooperation with the U.S.-Russia Business Council, the EEC will hold a round table where the participants will discuss approaches to Asia-Pacific regional trade agreements. It is planned to hold a round table on the prospects of developing RFID technology in the Union, a separate discussion on the development of cooperation in the domestic market of the Union to promote the exports by the EAEU Members States. The forum participants will hold round tables on improving the competitiveness of the EAEU economies, improving customs regulation, the prospects for the formation of the EAEU common energy resource markets, etc.
