Registration in London -  10 am. - 12 p.m., NW7 3HU.
Start from London to M1 route to the direction "North"
1:30p.m. - stopover at services (M1 Gap Service Southbound, Northampton, NN6 7UZ)
The column route: M1 till 21A exit towards A46 to Newark. At route A616 will be organized a meeting point for participants from Brighton, York, Manchester, Scotland.
6 p.m. – concert dedicated to Victory Day. (NG22 0EJ, Wellow).

9 May (Tuesday)

Free exhibition of wartime posters (Mission of Rossotrudnichestvo, 1 floor, 37 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 5ED), until May 16.

10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. flowers will be laid at the Soviet War Memorial near the Imperial War Museum in London.

5:30 p.m. - Concert, dedicated to Victory Day (Under the Bridgе club, Stamford Stadium, Chelsea, London), .

On the eve of the Victory Day, celebrated on 9 May in Russia, many Russians, including those who live in Britain, wear a symbol of remembrance – orange and black St.George’s ribbon, which can be obtained free of charge from the Embassy (applications with your postal address and a self-addressed envelope with a 2nd class stamp should be sent by post to 6/7 Kensington Palace Gardens, London, W8 4QP).

The Immortal Regiment marches

"Immortal Regiment" is a rally of remembrance: people carry photos of their family members who fought in WWII. All British friends whose ancestors fought in the War are welcome to join this regiment of peace and gratitude.

- London – 9 May at 2:30 p.m. (North terrace, National Gallery). 

- Cardiff - 9 May at 5:30 p.m. (Сity Hall,  Gorsedd Gardens Rd, Cardiff CF10 3ND).

- Manchester - 7 May at 2 p.m. (Manchester Cenotaph, Princess Str., M2 4EG, Manchester Tower Hall).

- Derby - 7 May at 11 a.m. (Derby War Memorial, 8A Market Pl, Derby DE1 3QE).

- Mansfield - 7 May at 3 p.m. - 7p.m., (Broxtow Drive, NG18 2JE). The rally is followed with a concert, dedicated to Victory Day (free entrance).

2 May (Tuesday) representatives of the Defence Attaché’s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Leeds,Huddersfield, Harrogate.

3 May (Wednesday) representatives of the Defence Attaché’s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Manchester.

4 May (Thursday)representatives of the Defence Attaché’s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Shaftesbury, Aldershot, Tidworth.

4-5 May representatives of the Defence Attaché’s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Hartlepool and York.

7-8 May representatives of the Defence Attaché’s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Liverpool and Chester.

9 May representatives of the Defence Attaché’s office of the Embassy will lay flowers to the graves of Soviet servicemen in Jersey (Slave Workers Memorial (Westmount Memorial).
