At Russia Beyond, we’re navigating some new challenges. Our Facebook page, home to over 2.1 million followers, has been banned by Meta. As a result, you can’t find our page even via a search, even if you’re subscribed. Similarly, our Instagram* account is no longer available, also fully removed by the platform.
Meta platforms have also removed our travel project page, called ‘Russia: 85 adventures’. (However, you can still check out this beautiful project in its full glory on our website).
While Russia Beyond does receive financing from the state budget, we don’t promote any political agenda in our content and we are not controlled by state officials in any capacity.
Still, our website and other social media accounts are also at risk of restrictions or bans.
However, our commitment to sharing the diverse spectrum of Russia’s history, culture, cuisine and more, remains strong. Our content goes beyond the current global political climate and we want you to continue enjoying and sharing it.
