All preparations are on for the main parade, which will be held on May 9.
Victory Day Parade rehearsals have begun in the Moscow Region.
About 10,000 servicemen are taking part in the rehearsals.
Over 100 units of military equipment will be used in the parade, including Tigr vehicles, T-72 and Armata tanks and Msta-S howitzers.
Aviation units will join the rehearsals at a later stage.
Victory Day Parades will be held in 28 Russian cities on May 9.
The main parade will be held in Moscow at the Red Square.
Indian troops took part in the 70th anniversary parade in Moscow in 2015, when Indian President Pranab Mukherjee was one of the international attendees.
