India is counting on more than 100 companies to participate in the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2016, RIA Novosti was told by Nishikant Jumde, representing EEPC India, which is involved in the organization of this exhibition on the Indian side.
In 2016, India will be the partner-country of this exhibition, which will be held in Yekaterinburg on July 11-14.
“We are expecting more than 100 Indian companies, our goal is 110. For this exhibition, we are inviting both small and medium-sized companies, as well as major players. We expect the exhibition to be attended by large companies such as BHEL from the heavy industry sector and the National Thermal Power Corporation from the energy sector. In addition, the giant Lakshmi Machine Works should also be attending as well,” said Mr. Jumde.
According to him, the India Pavilion has reserved 3,500 square meters of exhibition area. We are also discussing the possible participation of the Reliance Group, which is owned by the Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani.
In addition, the Indian side has requested that its Russian partners provide a list of Indian companies that are most attractive for Russian businesses.
