The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Rajnath Singh, the Home Minister of India, will meet in Moscow before the end of this month. The preliminary meeting is scheduled for September 20, as the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told RIA Novosti on Monday.
"This meeting is indeed scheduled. Tentatively, it could be held on 20 September,” - the department representatives reported. The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not specify the agenda of the meeting, explaining that it is still being planned.
Previously, the PTI agency reported that Singh would arrive on September 18 with a five-day visit to Russia, where he plans to hold talks with Kolokoltsev. According to the publication, the parties plan to discuss cooperation in the fight against the terrorist threat, in particular - the problem of terrorist activity in Kashmir region, as well as the activity of the terrorist group “Islamic state” banned in Russia in the countries sharing the borders with India. In addition, the Ministers may discuss the issues of extradition of wanted criminals and visa facilitation.
