The Government of the Tver Region will hold the International Investment Forum on June 2013 for the second year running. This year the Forum will become one of the key events completing the program of the Year of Germany in Russia.
The Forum will be particularly focused on the development of investment cooperation between the two countries. The Forum’s General Partners are German Management Group, MSB Capital Group, OTTO Group and Sberbank.
The Forum’s program includes a plenary meeting and a series of panel sessions, as well as individual meetings and negotiations within Business Connect format.
The Forum’s agenda also includes the issues of investment potential of Russian regions, the advantages of industrial parks and clusters for investors, MICE tourism and intercultural relation development, etc.
Among the Forum’s participants are the heads of the leading Russian and international companies, Tver region’s potential and acting investors, representatives of investment foundations and banks, chambers of commerce and industry, and business associations.
The German business community will be represented by the top managers of Knorr Bremse, German Management Group, OTTO Group, Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH and others.
Every year the Forum is focused on the development of bilateral relations between the leading countries investing in Russia.
Thus, the first Finnish-Russian Investment Forum that took place in Tver in June 2012 resulted in the signing of several investment agreements with an overall investment volume of 1.7 billion rubles ($36.7 million), as well as in a considerable growth of activity among the international companies in the region.
The region is uniquely located in the heart of Russia between 2 capitals - Moscow and St. Petersburg. With a well-developed transportation infrastructure, rich natural resources and efficient legislation supporting investment, Tver has been attracting investors from Russia and abroad for several years.
