Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) partners with the Mikhail Prokhorov Fund for a series of multidisciplinary events promoting cultural exchange between American and Russian artists and audiences.
TransCultural Express launches its inaugural season in Brooklyn with a special bilingual edition of Eat, Drink & Be Literary, featuring Russian authors Masha Gessen and Keith Gessen; a BAMcinématek-curated series of contemporary and repertory Russian cinema; and the creation of a large-scale installation work by Irina Korina, in conjunction with BAMart.
This is the Mikhail Prokhorov Fund’s inaugural alliance with a US cultural institution.
