Steven Tyler, the front man of American rock group Aerosmith, will lead the judges’ panel at Miss Universe 2013, which is scheduled to take place at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall on Nov. 9.

This will be Tyler’s first time judging the beauty pageant, where he will have to choose a winner among 90 participants. The reigning Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, will pass down her crown to this year’s winner.

Miss Universe 2013 will be hosted by the former member of the British pop group Spice Girls, Melanie Brown, and NBC host Thomas Roberts. American TV host Andy Cohen, who hosted Miss Universe last year, recently announced his decision to boycott the pageant, in protest of Russia’s law against homosexual propaganda.

The pageant will feature a musical performance by Panic! At the Disco, who are currently on a European tour to promote their album “Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!”

Miss Universe 2013 will be broadcast in 190 countries, and the organizers predict that over 1 billion viewers will tune in to the show. Elmira Abdrazakova, the winner of Miss Russia 2013, will represent Russia at the pageant.
