Kickstarter users aim to raise $30,000 to launch nesting dolls representing the Twitter co-founders.

A team known as The Department of Reckless Abandon is using the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform to raise $30,000 for a limited edition of nesting dolls depicting the co-founders of the Twitter microblogging service and its current CEO Dick Costolo.

The dolls were designed by the Australian artist Yiying Lu, the author of Twitter's celebrated Fail Whale error message. The souvenirs will be hand-crafted in Russia by the company Golden Cockerel.

The first clients are expected to get their Twitter doll souvenirs this March. The seven-doll set's starting price will be $60.
