Russia to train Vietnamese civilian nuclear industry personnel

The countries signed a memorandum of understanding at the 7th ATOMEXPO International forum in Moscow

Russia will train Vietnamese civilian nuclear industry personnel for the next five years, the Voice of Vietnam reported this week.

A memorandum of understanding was signed at the 7th ATOMEXPO International Forum in Moscow.

Russia will help Vietnam train nuclear experts, develop legal foundations for the nuclear energy, and prepare personnel for implementing nuclear projects in Vietnam in terms of infrastructure, technical management, technology and communications, according to the report

Rosatom has already trained 350 Vietnamese students at nuclear technical universities in the country.
