Oil spill occurs near Vladivostok

The source of the pollution is still unknown

An oil spill took place in the Tikhaya Bay near Vladivostok on July 21, PrimaMedia news agency reported on its website.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry said its specialists found oil slick on the surface of the water, but the source of pollution is unknown.

The environmental prosecutor’s office and the local port authority will investigate the causes of the spill.
